About Course

Automobile Sector is the field which has been witnessing unprecedented developments in the recent years. Its growth, being driven by the technological developments in multidisciplinary domains, the need for engineers with relevant and competent knowledge and skills will be strongly felt.

In order to cater such a need, the Department of Automobile Engineering was started in the college in the year 2011. Since Automobile Engineering is the discipline that requires theoretical inputs to go hand in hand with practical exposure, the department strives to provide intensive in-plant training of considerable duration to all the students in major automobile companies such as Manan Autolink Pvt Ltd, Gallops Motors Pvt Ltd and Landmark Honda Pvt Ltd etc. With such an academic exposure, it is obvious that the graduating students will have greater opportunities of getting placed in leading companies globally.

The department further encourages professional activity of the staff and students through the SAE INDIA Collegiate Club. These forums provide the platform for the students for enriching the knowledge in the field and also to have an exposure to the latest developments.

The young and vibrant faculty is the backbone of the department. All of them are highly qualified and well experienced and also pedagogy are organized from leading institutes like SVNIT, Surat and various industrial experts from different MNC's. All the faculty members are publishing the findings of their research work in reputed journals and conferences at regular intervals.

Eligibilty

You can be eligible for this course on successfully clearing any of the following exams.

After 12th Science (4 Year course)
After Passing 12th Science with GUJCET (GUJarat Common Entrance Test) for entry in 1st year.

After Diploma Engineering (3 Year course)
After successful completion of Diploma Engineering, you can apply for this course under lateral entry in 2nd year

How to Apply

You can apply for this course in following ways.

Admission by ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses)
After Passing any of the eligibility exams, student needs to register with ACPC. Based on merit ACPC will allow for entry on sanctioned seats.
Admission by Institute
After Passing any of the eligibility exams, institute can allow to join the course on the sanctioned Management Quota seats directly.
