About Course

The department of mechanical engineering was established on 2008. The current intake is 60 students. The department is facilitated with full time faculty members consisting of associate professors, assistant professors and technical supporting staff.

The department has incorporated with sophisticated cad-cam laboratories with licensed version software like ANSYS, Pro-E etc. for developing the programming skill of the students. Personal counselling system is provided to the students of the department.

Industrial visit are organized to enhance the practical knowledge of the students at various places like SARDAR SAROVAR DAM site, ADANI PORT at Mundra etc. Also visit is organized to different industries situated near by Ahmadabad city.

Knowledge of the student is enhanced by inviting the experts from reputed institutes like SVNIT Surat etc. The students are sent for training in different industries for getting the practical knowledge of different fields.

Eligibilty

You can be eligible for this course on successfully clearing any of the following exams.

  • After 12th Science (4 Year course)

    After Passing 12th Science with GUJCET (GUJarat Common Entrance Test) for entry in 1st year.

  • After Diploma Engineering (3 Year course)

    After successful completion of Diploma Engineering, you can apply for this course under lateral entry in 2nd year

How to Apply

You can apply for this course in following ways.

  • Admission by ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses)

    After Passing any of the eligibility exams, student needs to register with ACPC. Based on merit ACPC will allow for entry on sanctioned seats.

  • Admission by Institute

    After Passing any of the eligibility exams, institute can allow to join the course on the sanctioned Management Quota seats directly.
