About Course

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2009 in NSIT with intake of 60. There are highly qualified faculties completed their Masters in different areas (e.g. Environment, Transportation, Construction, Structure, Water Resources, Fractures, Geo-tech) and experienced lab assistants who have a great knowledge of various civil engineering instruments.

Department has state of the art laboratories for academic course related various experiments. The laboratories covers various real-time aspects of the concrete technology, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, surveying, mechanics of solid, model room. Computer lab is an advantages facility for students to cover their subjects of designing.

Encouragement to participate in technical and non-technical event of the institute as well as out-side institute has been admirable. Due to such efforts from students and faculties success is found to be their final destination.

Civil Engineering Department organized techno-cultural event "AVISHKAR" as well as "CREATO" every year & for a success of the program all the faculty members give full support to all the students, and make them capable enough to perform at their best level. We also work for a social cause and for that we are inviting old age home people every year on the day of program to make them happy.

Eligibilty

You can be eligible for this course on successfully clearing any of the following exams.

After 12th Science (4 Year course)
After Passing 12th Science with GUJCET (GUJarat Common Entrance Test) for entry in 1st year.

After Diploma Engineering (3 Year course)
After successful completion of Diploma Engineering, you can apply for this course under lateral entry in 2nd year

How to Apply

You can apply for this course in following ways.

Admission by ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses)
After Passing any of the eligibility exams, student needs to register with ACPC. Based on merit ACPC will allow for entry on sanctioned seats.
Admission by Institute
After Passing any of the eligibility exams, institute can allow to join the course on the sanctioned Management Quota seats directly.
